Sheffield Steelers confirm 20-year-old prodigy Alex Graham has tragically died
Professional ice hockey team the Sheffield Steelers have tragically confirmed the death of their 20-year-old forward Alex Graham.
The young talent was given a full-time role at the Steelers in May as the Elite Ice Hockey side sought to secure Graham's future in Sheffield.
Graham was earmarked as one of the stars for the future with head coach Aaron Fox tipping him for a promising career in the sport during an interview in May.
His passing was confirmed by the club on Monday and revealed that Graham had died over the weekend, although the circumstances behind his death were not given.

'Everyone at the club is heartbroken by the news and wish to pass on our thoughts and condolences to Alex’s family, friends and teammates.
'It would be appreciated if Alex’s family could be provided time and space to take in the enormity of this tragic situation in the days ahead.
'Graham, 20, had only recently signed his first professional contract with the Steelers after making 81 appearances since his debut in 2019 and was regarded as an outstanding talent about to make his mark on the professional game.
